Someone pointed out a vintage clip to me, so I figured it should be here.
This clip has highlights of two plays for Steve Swisher from his rookie season with the Chicago Cubs back in 1974.
One play shows some hustle and the other shows his first career grand slam.
And, of course, if you didn’t know … he’s Nick Swisher’s dad.

Steve Swisher took me under his fly at Ohio University when I transferred in for my sophomore year to play baseball he has always brought the best out in other people. Great Baseball Man and a Man of Honor. I thank him for these early years of being friend and our continuation of friends for Life.
